Pontoon Boats - Roomy & stable, pontoon boats are a wonderful alternative to a traditional fishing boat. Enjoy them for fishing or for a leisurely cruise around East Lake. The 18' 2003 Legend Pontoon boat is equipped for comfort with padded seats, stereo and canopy. It has a 25 hp motor and holds up to 8 people. The 16' Pontoon boat with 30hp motor is the more basic model suitable for up to 5.

Motor Boats - 14-16' aluminum with 8 hp & 9.9 hp outboard motors. They can seat up to 5 people.

Canoes - 2-seaters just right for a leisurely paddle down the river.

Kayaks - Single-seaters. Never kayaked? It's easy with these. You sit on top of them rather than being enclosed as you would in a traditional kayak. Once you hit your stride you'll be zipping down the river in no time!

Do I need a boating licence?

As of September 15, 2009, all operators of motorboats are required to have "proof of competency" with them on board. Proof of competency can be:

• a pleasure craft operator card; or
• a completed rental-boat safety checklist (for power-driven rental boats)

At Log Cabin Point, we complete the rental-boat safety checklist with everyone, so you’re covered. Consider getting your Pleasure Craft Operator Card though. You can study and write the test on line, e.g. at www.BoaterExam.com, and the card is good for life. See the Transport Canada website for more information.
