Pontoon Boats – Roomy & stable, pontoon boats are a wonderful alternative to a traditional fishing boat. Enjoy them for fishing or for a leisurely cruise around East Lake. Four sizes are available:  the 24′ holds up to 12 people, the 21’ and 18′ pontoons hold up to 8 people, and the 14’ can hold up to 5 people.

Motor Boats – 14-16′ aluminum with 9.9 hp outboard motors. They can seat up to 5 people.

Canoes – 2-seaters just right for a leisurely paddle down the river.

Kayaks – Single-seaters and a 2-seater. Never kayaked? It’s easy with these. Once you hit your stride you’ll be zipping down the river in no time!

Paddleboards – Standup paddle boarding is quickly becoming the water sport of choice.  It involves standing on an oversized surf board and propelling forward with a long paddle so it’s like a cross between canoeing and surfing.  So much fun, you’ll hardly notice it’s a great workout too!

All operators of motorboats are required to have “proof of competency” with them on board. Proof of competency can be:

• a pleasure craft operator card; or
• a completed rental-boat safety checklist (for power-driven rental boats)

At Log Cabin Point, we complete the rental-boat safety checklist with everyone, so you’re covered. Consider getting your Pleasure Craft Operator Card though. You can study and write the test on line.
